Welcome to Ilmeeo (“we”, “us”, “our”). Ilmeeo is an educational/spiritual-tech mobile app (delivered as a WebView app) designed to help users learn Islamic topics, Qur’an tools and short courses. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect information when you use our Services (app and website).

• Account & profile: name, email (if you register), profile data you choose to submit.
• Usage & content: course progress, bookmarks, watched videos, search queries, messages you send within the app.

• Media & microphone: only if you explicitly grant permission for features that require them (voice Q&A, uploads).
• Payments: payment records and transaction metadata (we do NOT store full card numbers; payments are processed by third-party payment providers).

• To provide and operate Ilmeeo features (videos, Qur’an Explorer, Hadith Hub, courses).
• To personalize content and recommendations and save user progress.

4. Third parties & services

We may share data with trusted service providers who perform services on our behalf (e.g., hosting, analytics, video hosting, payment processors, authentication). Examples of typical services used by Ilmeeo include Firebase (for backend/auth/analytics), video providers (YouTube/Vimeo), payment processors (e.g., Razorpay) and communication providers (e.g., CometChat) — where applicable. These providers process data under their own policies and contractual safeguards.

5. Data Safety & Google Play

We maintain a public Privacy Policy URL and complete Google Play’s Data Safety form to accurately reflect data collection, use, and sharing. The information declared in the Play Console (Data safety) is kept consistent with this Privacy Policy. Ensure the URL you provide in Play Console is publicly accessible and matches the policy text in-app.

6. Data retention & security

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described. We employ industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls). However, no internet transmission is completely secure — absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

7. Children

Ilmeeo is educational in nature. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe a child’s information has been collected without consent, contact us to request removal.
